THE NATURAL CHEFS
KITCHEN
Having recently purchased their new
home, this couple embarked on a whole
home refurbishment project including
reconfiguring internal walls to create a large,
open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.
Located in the leafy suburb of South West
London, just a stone’s throw from Richmond
Park, the couple enjoy experiencing both
city and country life. Between working in
the city, they escape to their home to rest,
recharge and enjoy time as a family.
The husband, a keen cook, also wished to
draw inspiration from a chefs kitchen. The
large preparation areas, much like those
found in a professional kitchen, are perfect
for making pasta as a the family. While
the social layout captures the theatre of
cooking, creating the perfect environment
for hosting dinner parties and entertaining
guests.
The combination of urban design, natural
materials, and influences from a chefs
kitchen results in a unique space that is
utterly personal to its owners.
